About Andean Moments
A travel company built in the Andes, by the people who live in them. We design journeys that mean something long after you fly home.
Crafted to Last
Our Story
Andean Moments is a travel company based in Cusco, created from a deep understanding of this land, its communities, and its culture. We design experiences in the Andes that go beyond simply visiting a destination. We want every journey to have meaning, to be thoughtfully cared for, and to leave a memory that lasts.
What makes us different is not only the destinations we offer, but the way we understand travel. We believe in service built on local knowledge, thoughtful planning, and genuine relationships with the people who make each experience possible. We do not want to be another agency simply selling itineraries. We want to build a company our clients can trust before, during, and after their journey.
That is why we treat every booking as a commitment. We understand that behind every trip there is time, effort, expectations, and a decision to place your trust in us. Our responsibility is to live up to that trust, act with transparency, and respond with integrity when things do not go as planned.
We also believe that the future of tourism in Cusco should not be built simply around welcoming more visitors, but around creating tourism that can endure. Tourism that creates opportunities for local communities, values our heritage, respects our culture, and allows future generations to find meaningful opportunities in their own land.
We want to grow, but not at any cost. We want our growth to contribute to building a way of doing tourism that Cusco can be proud of.
Because every journey creates a moment. And every moment leaves a mark.

Our Drivers
Responsible Travel, in Practice
We believe travel should give back more than it takes. Here is what that actually means on our trips, and what we are still working on.
-
The money stays here
A 100% Cusco-based team, with no international intermediary taking a cut along the way.
-
Leave No Trace
On every trek, what we carry in we carry out. Nothing is left behind on the trail.
-
No single-use plastic
Reusable bottles and refill points on every trip, instead of handing out plastic ones.
-
Paid fairly, paid on time
We contract family-run lodges, campsites and porters' associations directly, with nobody in between.
-
Native tree-planting
On our group treks, together with reforestation programs run here in the Cusco region.
-
Still working on it
We are not carbon-neutral yet
And we would rather say so than claim otherwise. We are measuring the footprint of our operation first, so we can offset it with a program we can name and you can check.
