Our 8-Day Peru Vacation Package combines, in a single route, the three landscapes that best represent the country: the coast of Lima, Paracas and Ica, and the Andes of Cusco with the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Rainbow Mountain and Humantay Lake.
This is the itinerary we recommend for first-time visitors to Peru who want to see the most important sights without arranging every transfer, hotel or entrance fee on their own. We coordinate the Cusco and Sacred Valley portion directly, and work with a trusted operator in Lima, Paracas and Ica so the coastal leg has the same level of service and support.
This tour includes two high-altitude hikes (Rainbow Mountain and Humantay Lake) in addition to Machu Picchu. If this is your first time in the Andes, we recommend arriving in Cusco 1 to 2 days early to acclimatize before starting the circuit.

Everything you need to know before touring the coast and Andes of Peru in 8 days.
This itinerary combines three distinct regions of Peru: the coast (Lima, Paracas and Ica), the highlands (Cusco and the Sacred Valley) and Machu Picchu. We coordinate the Andean portion directly, and work with a trusted operator for the coast, so service quality stays consistent throughout the trip.
Cusco sits at 3,400 m and the hikes to Rainbow Mountain (5,036 m) and Humantay Lake (4,200 m) require some adjustment. If this is your first time in the Andes, we recommend adding 1 to 2 extra nights in Cusco before these excursions, or asking us about lower-altitude alternatives.
The second day is the longest of the trip: departure for Paracas is before dawn and the return to Lima can be close to midnight. We recommend getting a good night of rest beforehand and wearing comfortable clothing for the boat ride, the pisco winery and the dunes of Huacachina.

No. Domestic flights are not included in the tour price; we do include hotel-airport transfers in both cities.
They are moderately difficult mainly because of the altitude, not the distance. Rainbow Mountain takes about 2 hours uphill to reach 5,036 m, and Humantay Lake about 1.5 hours to reach 4,200 m. Both offer the option to rent a horse at the trailhead.
No special training is required, but we do recommend arriving with at least 1 to 2 days of acclimatization in Cusco before the two high-altitude hikes.
Yes, although the best season is from April to October. During the rainy season (November to March) the trails to Rainbow Mountain and Humantay Lake can be wetter and more slippery.
The group service is shared with other passengers on most excursions. We also offer a private version, exclusive to your group, priced according to group size.
Tourist-class hotels in Lima, Cusco and Aguas Calientes. If you prefer a higher category, we can adjust the package to your budget.
You can message us on WhatsApp or fill out the contact form on this page. We will confirm flight and Machu Picchu train availability before finalizing your booking.
We will help you adjust the itinerary based on actual availability of Lima–Cusco flights and the Machu Picchu train, since these tickets sell out ahead of time during high season.
